Wrong MATID label in QGIS when no area points are defined
When displaying 2DM meshes in QGIS, all MATIDs are displayed as dataset groups, including the "Bed Elevation (Face)" group.
The names used are defined in MDAL, with the following naming system (this system was required to maintain backwards compatibility with previous versions):
- Material ID
- Bed Elevation (Face)
- Auxiliary Material 1
- Auxiliary Material 2
- ...
When saving a 2DM mesh that was created for use with BASEMENT 3 and that does not define any area points (aka. region points), only a single material is written: the element elevation. This causes the resulting dataset to be called "Material ID" in MDAL (and, by extension, QGIS), which is confusing at best.
To resolve this, we could always write a material into all 2DM meshes to avoid this shift. Since a material ID of 0 is generally considered to mean "null" or "no material defined", this should not cause any issues with other software.
